Lover of crappy and cheesy '90s movies. Occasionally I'll watch something legitimately good.

The more I think about this movie the more I hate it. Nicholas Cage was cool, I guess.

But tried to do too many thing, felt rushed in the latter stages, and wasn't scary at all. A bummer, I was quite hyped for it.

    John Wick: Chapter 4

Ridiculous and fun, and a good farewell to the titular character. I've always had a soft spot for the John Wick movies, even though the world building is eye-rolling and the elaborate High Table-run crime world is convoluting and frankly insane. But like so many martial arts movies, and even video games for that matter, the whole point is the fun.

And if by the end of John Wick 4 you don't want to go to your garage to do some "karate," then I don't know what to tell you.

This is the worst movie I have ever seen.

OK, perhaps I'm exaggerating, but it's definitely ONE of the worst movies I have ever seen. The tone of this movie jumps around worse than an ECG of a man having a heart attack, John Travolta's performance is unhinged and creepy and unsettling, and William Hurt has zero chemistry with the rest of the cast, mostly with the shoehorned romantic interest. And why did they think having Randy Newman compose the score would be a good idea? What was with that dance scene?

What in God's name is this? This film isn't from heaven, it's from Hell.

Horror's hard to do when Nicolas Cage is your leading man.

That's not to say Cage is bad in this film. It's just that, well, he's Nicolas Cage. As is his trademark these days, he's off the rails, and more than anything, he's channeling some major nostalgic "Vampire's Kiss" energy. The tone of Cage, sprinkled in with some legitimate and genuine moments of fear, create an uneven experience at time of viewing "Color Out of Space," but by the end,…
