That’s so hot!
Literally me throughout the film!
It's sexy, intelligent and the whole cast reflects the aesthetic of the film: Chef's Kiss. The score is perfect and makes the whole thing so satisfying.
There are perhaps one or two moments when the pacing slows down a bit. It didn't bother me because I was there from start to finish, but I'm willing to admit this flaw.
I'll reserve my 5th star for my next viewing (in the original version, please!)

Okay, this is not what I expected. It's not what I wanted. And yet it's beautiful. Yes, the film has many flaws, but I've forgotten them.

Me during the first half hour: gosh, what kind of dud is this and why did you get involved in this, Cate? Nothing was okay and even Cate's acting scared me to be honest. And that made me sad (see, I can be objective when I want to be).

It is the destination, not the journey
Remember when people thought Lydia Tár was a real person? This film is just as successful in persuading you that László Tóth really existed. And I liked that.
Adrien Brody is clearly a contender for the Best Actor Academy Award. And despite the presence of many very good films this year, this film will have its chance to win Best Picture, Best Scenario, Best Director, Best Score or Best Cinematography. Another pleasant surprise for me this year.
