I play guitar and review movies…
That’s it, pretty much!
This was truly an experience, the music was on point, just as expected coming from a biopic of the legendary Bob Dylan. I discovered some absolutely marvellous pieces of Folk from this movie, necessary for my development as a musician myself in my opinion.
Going back to the film as a whole, it was frankly pretty slow, during the first hour and a half of the film ( Bob Dylan’s coming out as an artist), the movie was very interesting,…
First thing I would like to put on the table was how out-of-guard this movie caught me. I went in, frankly, not expecting much at all just a way to spend time. However, it blew my expectations through the roof.
A movie at first talking about apeirophobia (the fear of eternity) and some philosophical dilemas, which argued about the transferring of consciousness into another body beyond death. It truly felt as if I were watching a Black Mirror episode once again…
Pretty good film, left me feeling uneasy afterwards. Absolutely nothing to do with the original 1922 black and white film, whilst this doesn’t mean is bad is not what I expected and completely caught me by surprise and I actually kind of liked some parts.
I did get jump scared by the most predictable thing ever.
A movie which completely caught me by surprise like other movies from the studio. The animation felt different however still beautiful, story line was on point with amazingly written characters. Though the ending was very confusing in my opinion. An absolute must watch!
