  While the open yourself up to new possibilities theme works great here for both protagonists, I don't like the "normify allison from the breakfast club" way of going about it. The classic you "look better without glasses" ahh troupe. The third act was kind of meh for me too. I came for Paul Walker and damn did he do his thing here. I hated his character at the end, he did such a good job. THATS WHY HE'S THE GOAT!!!

  Being able to find your own worth and learn lessons through past relationships is a message everyone can learn from/relate to. I'm grateful the past happened cause I wouldn't be who I am today. Similar to how Tom wouldn't have found his old passion for architecture if he hadn't gone through the motions with summer.

  Even if things are sour, never try to forget your memories. It's so easy for us to try and block out events in our mind just cause we do not like who or what it is associated with, when in reality it was some of the best times we have ever had. The editing in this movie showed just how sad it could be to lose those precious memories due to our selfish and temporary feelings.
