always eats i fear

went to watch this with my mom at my local cinemark and i’m not even kidding everyone walked out less than an hour into the movie. my mom started asking the movie theater employees for a refund saying she didn’t know it was porn probably the most i’ve ever laughed in my life

maybe it would’ve been okay if i watched alone or something but honestly the premise wasn’t doing it for me

i can appreciate the glitz of this movie and maybe even some of its surface level messaging but at times it just seemed like the filmmakers didn’t even know what point they were trying to make so they just threw all of their nebulous ideas about feminism and womanhood at the wall and let whatever stuck make the final cut.

not to say i wouldn’t visit barbieland though… i totally would
