the present day storyline was super boring, it should’ve revolved only around the 60s plot. the twist had me like :0 but honestly it made the movie misogynistic instead of “SA-awareness-spreading” ; it just portrayed the sexual abuse problem as a bit shallow but it made me think one thing though: the real horror in this movie were not the jumpscares and effects but MEN. super disappointing ending. felt s u g a r y compared to the rest of the movie. stunning visuals, the stabbing scenes were satisfying:)
