I liked that this movie set up a lot of classic horror movie jump scares, only to not do them, so when they did actually have “scary” bits it was a suprise. That being said, these were some of the stupidest horror movie protagonists ever. The amount of times that they could have gotten away only to walk right back in was frustrating. This movie also wasn’t scary in the slightest, and it could have been about 20 minutes shorter. The acting saved it though. Everyone in this movie played their characters so well and they brought the creepiness to life.

This was probably the most unnerved I’ve ever been while watching a movie. The gore was realistic and there wasn’t really any unnecessary bloody scenes. The jump scares and plot twists were predictable, which is why I only gave it four stars, but they were still effective and scary. I think the end was drawn out and a little too on-the-nose-satanic, so I wish it was maybe a little more creative and answered more questions, because it didn’t really answer anything except “oh btw it’s all the devil”. It was still amazing tho.

A Quiet Place: Day One 2024
This is exactly what I want from a creature horror movie. The acting was all amazing and every character felt like a real person that you could get attached to even if they had like 5 minutes of screen time. Probably my favorite of the Quiet Place movies.
