  Too depraved for my taste. Just feels like its gross for the sake of being gross. I didn't care about any of the characters, nobody is likable or even despisable in an interesting way. I don't mind gore and such in my films, but this was all shock no substance to me. There's also an uncomfortable amount of SA here. And lastly, it is just WAY too long.

  However, Tadanobu Asano might look cooler here than anyone has looked before in a movie before though so there's that.

  Besides some cool visual choices I don't have much else positive to say, maybe I missed something?

  Yes the jar jar stuff is annoying. For some reason any scene that has him they have to get off as much slap stick humor as they can. However this hits all the beats you expect from a star wars film as well as having THE duel of the fates in it. Sound design is fantastic throughout especially in the podrace scene. The positives just outweigh the negatives for me I could never hate this one, nostalgia aside even.
