    A beautiful, sincere, and above all delightful piece of passionate craftsmanship that shines in every shot with the creators' evident desire to make it.

    I can see kids/unenchanted adults being bored, and I fear its pacing would suffer on rewatch. But even if repeat viewings might have to put up with possible dead air and a somewhat meandering plot, The Inventor's consistently charming and sporadically breathtaking animation alongside it's insistence on keeping it's heart proudly on its sleeve means it will likely continue to demand attention and maintain it's grip on your heart with every fresh watch.
