i still don’t believe they had something profoundly special. they had something definitely. but they did not have more than any other very real but very fleeting love story. filled with insecurity and power play, i don’t believe they belong with each other. i don’t believe anyone “belongs” with anyone but they definitely don’t.
gorgeous movie that showcases the all too relatable ways in which impressionable people (especially adolescents) pine after and glorify other people in romantic ways when we search for validation in people we believe are just so profoundly amazing.
