It's slow, very slow, and silent, but Feuillades perfects his style throughout the 10 episodes and the second half of the series becomes actually good and not just some piece of cinema history to study. The protagonist is easily the biggest let down, he's literally just a wall with a good guy stamp on it, which is okay cause it makes the side cast shine and that's where the movie's strengths are. If you like Tintin this goes straight your alley this feels the same it might even be an inspiration of Hergé and i don't know it.
