  First off, Jim Carey is a gem of an actor, and I miss his unique additions to cinema terribly. 

  Second, there are too many things to say about this film to say them all correctly and all at once. This is a masterpiece. Every element of this film worked for me and I really enjoyed the very concept and how it played out.   Pretty funny in a way that didn’t really resonate with my humor. Lots of little details that are delightful to notice. Overall super well crafted top to bottom, seems like our boy Edgar here really does get the zombie apocalypse genre so well he can tribute/make fun of it. Interesting characters support good writing with some surprisingly familiar faces bringing the characters to life (even some small side characters—Martin Freeman cameo, anyone?). Nick Frost definitely outshined everyone else for me, though. Anyways an enjoyable little film that’s worth the watch but may not quite be your cup of tea (pun intended)
