Soderbergh is a filmmaker that’s still exploring how to make films more interesting. Presence tackles grief and family dynamics in experimental fashion, with solid performances from the cast and a unique atmospheric vibe.

Uninspired, dull, pointless, annoying, I could keep going. How was there pacing issues at only 83-minutes? The action sequences were packed with CGI and pretty basic. Zero chemistry from any of the characters. Shoutout to Ke Quan for putting up with all this nonsense, he deserves better.

Disappointing, boring, plotless, and dumb. If you think about it, it’s basically a ripoff of Final Destination with more blood and guts. The entire cast looks so bored and confused. While I enjoyed Longlegs, this was a giant miss for me. I am however, still curious to see what Perkins does next.

Incredible! The pacing, the acting, the action, the script! Gene Hackman at his very best. Anne Archer is terrific. Guys, the majority of this movie takes place on a moving VIA RAIL train headed to Vancouver. It hits close to home. Truly an exhilarating ride. I’ll be revisiting this as soon as I receive my DVD copy from eBay.
