The Exorcist III 1990
Little exposition heavy in the end, but a stylish 70's tone of voice and a contemplative approach to storytelling. Plays more as a murder mystery, rather than a traditional horror movie, mostly dread and creep, barely showing anything until some serious gore and FX in the final sequence. No cheap scares, just well set up moments and executions.
