The Name of the Rose 1986
That was a splendid watch! Definitely not for those who are squeamish, as there's sprinkles of gore, a LOT of sexual tension (including an uncomfortably long sex scene), and plenty of death. Definitely shows you the worst in every aspect of humanity, especially when it's as tunnel visioned as the Inquisition. This one is definitely my favorite Sean Connery film though, by far! I love his character the most and how he weaves through all the crazy.

My Man Godfrey 1936
This was a very interesting movie, to say the least. While most of the lines were very quirky, some of it just lead into some very questionable ways. I feel bad for Godfrey, but at the same time good on him.

Love the take on sinner rehabilitation and the reality of everyone laughing at it. Very witty lines and highly adulterated. Not for those who are sensitive... Like in general. It has swearing, drugs, violence, sex, you name it. Bring your sinner ass into the Hazbin Hotel, take a drink, and go fuck yourself

Whisper of the Heart 1995
A very emotional film about young love and finding oneself. Definitely one of the finer of the Ghibli and Miyazaki films. While it doesn't have the usual fantasy element that most other ones do, it makes up for it with all of it's emotional energy.
