Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves 2023
Rewatched on Netflix, still an incredibly fun movie, that even if it had or has plot holes wouldn’t bother me since it feels surprisingly similar to an actual player campaign. It’s got some really god jokes too, also the acting is pretty darn good.

I liked it a lot, but I felt it ended too cleanly for its themes. I feel like the moral ramifications of what happens next are left too open. Is there ethical colonialism on this planet, what is the mission of the rest of the company/church it certainly doesn’t feel like this a movie that wants to give happy ending and then it goes and does. Nasha, feels like she was a kinda bad character who just saves the day and felt like her character progress wasn’t really “earned” idk. Pattinson is good, the aliens are ugly cute in the right way.

A movie all in good fun, doesn’t take itself to seriously. Cheesy and cliche in parts but the movies moved along fast enough that it wasn’t too bothering. Action was fun even if didn’t make sense/was unbelievable.

Wow feels like it hit you a brick with how subtle the movie is. I think the script definitely could have used a couple of revisions, to not make the dialogue feel more natural. Action was sometimes very funny, but all in all this movie was what I imagine Camelot from Monty pythons holy grail was like.
