  animation slapped. also lowkey i wasn’t expecting him to be reborn so CUNTY! the flowing hair? the smokey eyeshadow? gosh!

  lacks subtlety. the film tried its best to replicate what the tv series did, which was not wise given there wasn’t nearly enough time to develop the story as the series did. 

  it prioritized the audience’s nostalgia for the characters and story above all else, and that made the whole story seem almost distracted.

  honestly am very disappointed. the series was amazing, given, but the movie shouldn’t have been afraid to follow that… it was though, and it showed.

  Puss in Boots: The Last Wish 2022

  okay disclaimer, i did cry, but only because the movie touched on mortality and a close relative of mine passed away recently. not cause the movie was spectacularly emotional. 

  it was alright? animation was really cool, and the story flowed well. the whole story followed the characters’ personalities and motivations very well, so it was good in that sense. 

  metaphor felt a bit loose, but it was there. overall cute.
