Somehow a robot and a dog manage to be the most interesting characters.

The humor (warm bodies vibe) does not work and feels awkward throughout.

No time is spent on developing Joel’s relationship with Aimee or his original colony which causes what should be the peaks of the story to flatline.

The monster design is creative and I would have liked to see even more.

Feels a little to long and the introduction of a villain in the last 20 minutes was stupid.

Fun action in a creative world, that leaves the viewer wishing it was fleshed out a bit more. I think it would have worked better being split into a two part since it tries to replicate the kill bill model anyway.

There are moments where I think it could of gone even further the absurdity and video game references are the most enjoyable parts.

Remember boys if a girl says no you just haven’t asked enough times.

I don’t particularly love the story or the majority of the songs.

The dancing and sets are well done throughout. Costumes are also a standout particularly in stairway to paradise, the student ball and the finale number.

Every single relationship in this is problematic and Jerry is kind of a prick. One person is manipulating, one person is using the other for fortune, one is cheating, one…
