“When I was a kid my father used to say our greatest hopes and and our worst fears are seldom realized” - Jim McCay

The strongest complement I could give this is movie is the production being exquisite. The cuts, fast transitions, quick dynamics inside confusion and conflict, need to be ahead of everything, and television production insight prevailed, by far, making in a very interesting movie that showcases a POV that most people never seen before, I assume, and…

“Oh, I used to, but I haven’t desired to cook for someone in ages” - Chef Slowik (Ralph Fiennes)

An obvious criticism to the unconscious, meaningless, fast consumption of artistic matters, this motion picture palpably increases its intensity until the end, with exquisite image editing, soundtrack, production, and funny ‘zen comercial breaks’ here and there, that turn into regular ‘comercial breaks’ afterwards, that cut the air like a sharp knife, giving us a time to rest from all awkwardness.

This is bad… just straight bad. Nothing is good or average in this movie, besides the cast.

Action is bad, fights aren’t intense, the chases feel slow, the acting is uninteresting, the camera shots aren’t memorable (even tho they go to a beautiful destination at the end), the dialogue is predictable, the romance isn’t emphatic, and the humor is very poor. Nothing is memorable, at all.

The worse thing is that the movie had potencial halfway through it, but they went to the safe route.

Extra: How can you produce something with such low quality with this group of actors?…

"You two are so cute" - Maddie (Tika Sumpter)

Yup, this kinda carries the movie, both Sonic and Donut Lord (James Marsden) have a nice easygoing brotherly dynamic, is indeed cute. It's a proven formula, nothing hot or cold, just a nice 'warm milk' type of production - it's nice, known and expected. Everything feels familiar, from the sister-who-hates-the-sister's-husband, to the comic-relief-bad-guy (it helps if you are into Jim Carrey’s type of humor) - amazing for kids.
