Went in thinking this was an early 2000s movie, was wrong, but this has the same charm to it? It's lowkey disturbing thinking about the age difference but the characters are just so sweet together and I really like the ending. It went where I didn't think it'd go, very cute. Jennifer Lawrence was amazing per usual and social anxiety be damned THAT BOY CAN SINGGG

A beautiful story about some closeted (and not so closeted) lesbians, trying to hide their romance underneath singing in an acapella group and expressing their passion together that way, since their love would not be accepted otherwise. Beca should not have dated her new gay friend Jesse as a cover up, because he was in love with Benji and it always showed. Honorary straight couple Fat Amy and Bumper were the epitome of the standards for dating as a heterosexual.
