catholic mean girls. cardinal lawrence is just a stressed girly trying to make it through this conclave. also, he gets in a fight with his bestie, which just makes it all the more stressful. just give him a break. FYI he also makes copies of the burn book for everyone to read.
i enjoyed this so much: the pettiness, the infighting of the different church factions, the solemn moments that are laughable to everyone that is not religious, all brought together by the anxiety inducing score. and isn’t it all just a TINY bit similar to the current social climate???
