  Listen, as masterful and relatable as that last panic attack sequence was (one of the best panic attacks I’ve seen depicted) and his relatability about being an insecure filmmaker, Guido is still such a narcissistic, whiny, and worst of all… boring ass bitch of a character with mommy issues that put oedipus to shame. I lost all sympathy and charm towards him. He’s a conventionally attractive Italian filmmaker in the 60s he’s meant to have sauce?? Where’s the sauce?? All…

  she doesn’t even say “snap out of it” the way everyone always impersonates her to!! 

  I feel lied to!! 

  Cher is so beautiful, but even she couldn’t save this script. wow nothing was earned. I really wanted this to be good bc I love Cher :(

  this back to back with coco almost killed me. 

  structurally this is fricking fantastic. insane pacing. for some reason I always remembered nemo getting lost half way through the film but no, it happens like immediately but it’s so well written that I was already attached to their father son relationship. 

  marlon is so so brave. lowkey like best fictional dad ever 

  seeing the harbour in such a huge animated film was so cool. I felt weirdly proud?? 

  incredible score. Thomas Newman you’re a genius
