a truly spectacular film in terms of acting and visual excellence. i’m in complete awe of how the brutalist allows you to feel the architectural marvel and just gives cinema.

— the idea of making a film that doesn’t risk anything is a strange concept. then why are you doing it? for what?
— it occurred to me that what love is… is when one not only sees and recognises, but accepts and doesn’t try to fuck with the loneliness in the other.

honestly, it would be so cruel of me to rate «imagine me & you» with less than five stars. it made me happy, it made me feel seen, i’m obsessed with the language of flowers, and i’m obsessed with british romcoms. the first watch of 2025 and a truly pleasant one
