Beautiful costumes, incredible choreography, this film is so well made and oozes with joy. Astaire gives an amazing performance, 'Drum Crazy' was my favorite sequence, as well as 'Shaking the blues away' by Ann Miller in that yellow dress. At some point I teared up because they really don't make musicals like they used to... Wicked was good but it could have been so much better...
I don't give it 5 stars because it's a little bit too long and I didn't feel like the romance was very well developed, but this is an incredible movie to watch on a bad day and improve your mood.

The musical sequences were expertly choreographed and shot, unfortunately the script was predictable, tropey and way too long.
Didn't love how how it's supposedly about him becoming a better man but he's an asshole most of the movie and we breeze past him making amends in the last 10 minutes.
