Past Lives 2023
I really liked this film. It was thought provoking and didn’t follow the typical narrative of boy and girl meet up after years apart and live happily ever after. I loved how it showed the different types of love and that not all necessarily make you right to be together; in this case they both loved versions of eachother that no longer existed because they were frozen in time from when they were younger, and it was really powerful when they both realised that.
