Honestly im so sorry but i hated this. Maybe its cuz im flared and in more physical pain than usual but this movie Certainly didnt help. put me in a terrible mood. the fake new york accent was Horrible and kept taking me out of the storyline. To me it felt distinctly written by a man. Just way too much tension and going nowhere at a million miles an hour. and the fact that there was no intimacy coordinator and that was played like a flex? UGH IM FRUSTRATED and I dont understand.

They tried SO hard……… and they didnt succeed. too cringey to enjoy, tackling race in such a literal way and driving it home every minute of the movie. obvs its not the theme itself, its just the way they just uncreatively and uncomfortably went about it, it was unenjoyable. like i commend them for trying and its a cool concept and there were laughs…. but ………. yea.

This movie, from start to finish, is captivating, raw, and moving. I cannot get over how brilliantly the creative team dreamt up this whole entire world from essentially scratch, portrayed many intricate yet simple themes through VERY little dialogue, and made a movie so utterly original and fucking incredible. One of the best movies I’ve seen in a while, if ever.
