SLY LIVES! (aka The Burden of Black Genius) 2025
A documentary about the artist I listened to the most last year on Spotify. I love Sly. An emotional rollercoaster of a story. Questlove continues to make wonderful documentaries. Well done, really enjoyed this.

Twilight Zone: The Movie 1983
Rating would be higher if the first story was removed and the awful production fiascos/tragedies didn't exist. I like the silly prologue with Aykroyd and Brooks...and I wonder if Brooks's part was originally slated for Belushi. Really didn't enjoy the opening Landis story- the weakest of the whole movie. The second segment was OK, but overly schmaltzy for Twilight Zone. You can feel that Spielberg was obligated and didn't really want to be there ...just mailed it in. Big fan of the final two segments. They both elevate the whole movie for me. Good acting, good production, fun stories - just a much better product.
