  I held off on sobbing until they discussed his stroke and everything that followed. Couldn’t hold it in anymore. He was such a talent and a joy. There will never be another like him.

  I wasn’t expecting to love this as much as I did, but boy oh boy did Ali Abbasi and Gabriel Sherman do a great job examining Trump’s biggest fear and greatest weakness: being seen as human. 

  I think if Best Supporting Actor wasn’t on lock by his Succession co-star Keiran Culkin, the Oscar would be Jeremy Strong’s. The way he plays Roy’s sociopathy and hunger for power even at the cost of his own truth (his sexuality) is just brilliant. …

  As a black non binary femme, Gloria’s speech broke me. And that’s how I knew this movie had me.

  There’s something to be said about the way Gerwig touches on femininity, womanhood, and managing our expectations in a world that’s spiteful. These are common themes within her filmography that she, at least to me, nails every time. 

  Barbie is no exception.
