actually this is my fave hp movie. gets a lot of flack but it will soon find its audience just like what happened with prisoner of azkaban. in the midst of the growing narrative this movie took its time to let the characters be regular 16 year olds and i love that.

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix 2007
personal favourite hp film. yates’ ability to depict a british political thriller is unmatched and his storytelling only increases in quality the more political it gets. hp5 is arguably the slowest in the series and that works in its favour because of the expansion to the ministry of magic and the use of propaganda— this feels like a chess board at all times.
