magaret qualley gave a career-defining performance, in the worst way possible. the movie failed to make its own point so horribly that her body did ALL of the legwork. demi moore was the one reprieve from the horrors. it’s a shame they gave her nothing to work with. a TRULY horrible performance by the man, who failed to make his character anything but a screechy and obvious caricature in no meaningful ways whatsoever.
