Bullet Train 2022
Brad Pitt being a good comedic actor should be the discovery of the century.
Also this is the best use of Thomas the Tank Engine in film and I'm happy to say that Aaron Taylor-Johnson might be the most attractive British actor I've ever seen even if it's an egregious accent even by the high standards of what I'm used to.

Scott Pilgrim Takes Off 2023
While I don't think it's as tight or fast paced as the film, I genuinely cannot overstate how amazing this show is. Past the first episode, every moment is non-stop unexpected, unhinged, engaging or hilarious brilliance. It honestly feels like the perfect combination of the best elements of all three adaptations thus far. The Graphic Novel style feels perfectly integrated into the anime style while introducing flourishes and techniques that add so much to the story, characters and action.

Can we be real for a second and talk about how much it rules to have Thanatophobia in a film for younger audiences? Genuinely, I adore it when media discusses Death in any capacity (see my Persona 3 Winter of Rebirth review), but also to have it make sense to kids and a great message for those who are still in a stage of their life where they may have such a fear? HOLY GOD IS IT GOOD!!
Oh... uhh right this is supposed to be a funny cat film... uhhh... yeah it was just as solid on a rewatch, go see it or something.
