Such an amazing cinematic experience. So many odes to the original film and I adored it. So very tragically beautiful and intense. Started off with a jumpscare and continued to be on the edge of my seat (thrilled) and scared! Lily shows such depth, dedication, and immersion into every role she takes on and I need her in everything!! Been saying this since the IDOL!!!! Overall, never seen anything quite disturbing and intriguing at the same time. Also LOVE dafoes character in this, I think it’s his best work yet. Ugh. Def worth rewatching!! And I rarely say that.
