  Yes I know I'm late to the party but yes I can now also confirm that this is very cool. All aspects combined this work really stands on its own, one of the lovely bonbons of cinema that patiently waits for you to take it in it after everyone has already told you to and then when you do it doesn't disappoint !

  Many aspects of this film easily exceeded my expectations -- wonderful sets (like The Fountain on steroids meets Terry Gilliams Brazil meets Halo 3 meets Stars Wars II meets Charlie and the Chocolate Factory?), blown away honestly by the first image of Bella on the bridge alone... The usage of lenses, Bertolucci-like framing precision, meticulous usage of both black&white and coloured scenes (imagine how awful 8 1/2 would have looked in colour, but Lanthimos makes both work!).
