They ass lucky they didn't mess this one up. This is Bob Marley, one of the greatest songwriters of all time. He deserves an authentic, powerful portrayal of his life and legacy for the world to see. And that's what he got, for the most part. The actors do a pretty impressive job, from the accents to the mannerisms. The soundtrack goes hard. The only flaw would probably be the writing, which is kinda basic and all over the place…

Dune 2021
I had to rewatch this alone in the dark to prepare for part 2. And damn this movie is amazing. The acting is decent, the cinematography, the visuals, the sound are all fantastic. The music is just unlike anything created before. Hans Zimmer is a straight up genius. I really liked the character development and world building, and the dialogue was written beautifully. Only minor problem was the extremely slow pace that made it feel dull at times, and it's just a bit too long. But it's still an incredibly ambitious movie and a fully immersive experience.
