A Complete Unknown 2024
Great watch. Very music heavy, in a positive way.. let the music tell the story, so to speak. Planning on seeing it again while it’s in the theater, to better respond to details. Overall well worth the watch.

The first 10 minutes alone, carry you into the headspace that the entire film will deliver. If you’re uncomfortable at that point, be prepared; as the awkward misinformed mental chaos is continual and constant. Moments of feeling badly for our main character, feeling disgusted by him, wanting to commit suicide for him…it ran the gamut. For anyone whom has struggled with any level of mental un-wellness, this hits home like a truck. Although much more extreme than my personal experience…

Four Flies on Grey Velvet 1971
An Argento classic. This was a first time watch for me, and I will most definitely revisit soon to find more detail… however, the plot is strong, the visual matching and pacing is continuously smooth, and the character development is truly perfect. Although possibly a bit predictable, what isn’t after watching so many films, both of this genre as well as others. Well made, cinematography that keeps you wanting more, and visual effects that are so much fun for the time. Close to perfect.
