Shaun of the Dead 2004
Great film smiled from start to finish. Unbelievably close to home, ran passed the Winchester just the other day. When the world falling apart I reckon I’ll go to Winchester, have a nice cold pint, and wait for this to all blow over.

The Irishman 2019
Brilliant film. Very glad it was as long as it was. Throughly deserved a rewatch. At times felt it lacked an overarching plot but by the end come to love the following of ‘interior decorator/house painter’ Frank’s career and transition into end of life. GoodFellas 1990
film so good I’ll be watching it two times, two times.
Off the back of finishing sopranos to start with I was just happy to see some old friends, the likes Dr Melfi (Karen Hill), Chris Moltisanti (Spider), and Paulie (Tony Cicero). But as the tape rolled I fell in love with it for its own genius. Brilliant film, characters and plot line. Feel like it was concluded quite quickly, but I’m starting to sense that’s the nature of life and death when it comes to Our Thing.
Now go home and get your shine box.
