Inside Out 2 2024
An accurate representation the teenage mind without too many stereotypes or excessive mature themes. Also excellently conveys the value of old friendships and dealing with life changes. Though I think this movie falls short of the first due to an overemphasis on Joy (who we spent a lot of time with in the first movie), it's still an excellent watch, and I'm sure both kids and teens can find something to enjoy in this.
I'm also a bit broken on Bill Hader not returning for this film due to being underpaid. </3

Black Adam 2022
A decent superhero action movie bogged down by The Rock's narcissism and an already failing cinematic universe. Detaching Black Adam from Shazam was a huge mistake. Ironically, the best part of Black Adam is not the namesake character, but rather the Justice Society, specifically Doctor Fate. Doctor Fate's story is interesting enough to consider watching this movie, with some fun action on the side. Great for a plane ride.
