  Anora (2024), written & directed by Sean Baker, starring Mikey Madison, Mark Eydelshteyn, Yura Borisov, Karren Karagulian & Vache Tovmasyan, follows the troubled marriage between Anora (Madison), an exotic dancer, & Vanya (Eydelshteyn), an oligarch’s heir.

  It’s an unusual rom-com which doesn’t feel like a rom-com at all. The romance factor is definitely overhyped & kind of misled in terms of promoting & marketing the movie because this isn’t a Cinderella Story. It’s more like what happens when Pretty Woman meets Hustler & Uncut Gems.

  "Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri" is a powerful movie which makes you feel like you are watching a potential Oscar nominee. The movie is about a mother who decides to defy the police when the police fail to find culprits who are responsible for her daughter's death. The movie revolves around moral ambiguity. It focuses on police brutality. Rape, homophobia and racism are also discussed in the film.
