  I did not expect this film to be so horrifying and disturbing..

  You truly feel the weight of Karolina’s hardships through every frame with the score, lingering shots, and the black-and-white cinematography amplifying that sense of exhaustion. Some shots really reminded me of Bergman, and I could see clear surrealist elements, especially in the shocking/distorted imagery of the nightmare sequences. The film also explores existential themes like alienation, making the film even more suffocating.

  I really love the dialogues in this. 
  I don’t know how to explain it but the film kind of felt like a video game (thx to vincent for cosplaying albert wesker)
  now on a serious note, you can easily tell this was shot on digital, I mean the cinematography is very sharp and precise but yet natural and raw.
  Michael Mann’s style always feels somewhat futuristic to me no matter how old the movie is.
