  At one point our hero sits down to work. But the movie doesn’t know what work is. It’s watching over your shoulder saying, “look. It’s work.” And you say, ok movie. And on the screen our hero is just holding up different prisms at a rapid rate. “I’m working!” he tells us. And that’s how we know.
