  that chaperoning moment near the end with matthew and greg was quite possibly one of the funniest scenes i could have imagined in a film dealing with such heavy subject matter. it allowed me to release the breath i didnt know i was holding for most of my viewing experience. matthew going "was it good for you?" and greg losing his shit, finally allowing himself to have pure unadulterated fun with his only friend felt like the break in pace we really needed, and i dont think i would have liked this film as much as i did if that scene wasnt included.
