honestly one of the best harry potter movies, even if they did take out a bunch of the dialogue from the books (which is honestly for the best considering most of it was just ron and hermione arguing, and i really didn't want to see ron be an asshole, but i did want to see harry and hermione's platonic friendship grow :( )
best plot, but so much dialogue was taken out, but also i love how everything looks in this movie
the worst one of the franchise imo, only iconic bc of the flying car and polyjuice potion
i, too, like trisha, would swoon for vikram at the sight of those biceps in that khaki uniform.
in all seriousness vikram as a morally grey hero (?) is so freaking good, i love him. trisha HAD SUCH A GOOD ROLE, the way the romance subplot wasn't put aside for the action plot was SO GOOD OF HARI, i was so expecting for trisha to get put aside after the interval but THEY WERE SO CUTE. and don't even get me started on vivek; every time i see vivek i want to cry i miss him so much.
i don't care how stupid the plot of this movie is; dhanush has never looked better than he has in this movie (oh my god HIS HAIR akjsdnfdf and the black kurta and his outfits in the idicha pacharsi song adsjkflwkjfkawjdf) and vivek's comedy is something i have missed SO freaking much
no it's not a groundbreaking movie about class differences or a societal message or anything; it's a rom-com with a non-cringey family plot-line and the romance is SO freaking cute. love love love
