read this a couple years ago after binging all of fire punch. fujimoto is a storyteller with a once in a generation level talent. i know everyone is going to rave about the dancing scene but what really got me was “why do you draw?”. flawless character animation, the director is just as talented as an auteur as the characters hes adapted. anyone who has ever had even a passing interest in the arts should watch this movie
