This one was so powerful because it not only confronts a horrifying, tragic event, but it forces us to ask ourselves - who would we be? With horrors taking place every day, halfway across the world and in our backyards alike, most people (myself included) are not ready for that kind of introspection.

Such a funny and entertaining movie with so much heart. The ending has me in a chokehold. Sean Baker has brought his filmmaking style to a higher budget film and I’m SO happy to report it didn’t dilute his filmmaking style, in fact it enhanced it.
Without saying much, I’ll say this movie had me thinking a lot about the ways in which women have a built distrust of men because ultimately you know they’ll use you for one thing…
