Watched the only way you really should watch something like this; half awake from a shoddy hotel bed on cable TV
I actually imagine this was a lot of dumb fun in theaters in 3D. It's weird to think this movie kinda falters as a pastiche of grimy 70s grindhouse, but actually kinda feels like a throwback when viewed now to a type of cinematic garbage we'd be lucky to even get now in actual theater. Nic Cage truly keeping this candle lit.

If you've been keeping an eye on those droves of recent Looney Tunes shorts WB put out before they decided they hate cartoons, you know what to expect-- it's more of the same and the same is GREAT. Some wonderful homages to classic Looney Tunes from start to finish. Made a point to see this on the biggest widest screen I could and that was a great call.

Good Chemistry: The Story of Elemental 2023
Man, y'all were way too hard on Elemental. A wonderfully personal essay that gives context to the subtext of the film, it's really really nice to see director Peter Sohn just speak candidly on his life and work for 40 minutes. Good stuff
