It's been a while since I saw this atrocity, but as I've recently reviewed the previous 7 movies, I thought it be fitting to include this one to the lot also, even though I discarded my DVD-copy of it after the first viewing, vowing to myself to never lay eyes on it again, and decide it "does not exist" in real life, like a bad memory or trauma that should not be revisited.

    Anyway, here we are - I just…

    Halloween H20: 20 Years Later

When I first watched this film as a teenager, I had actually not seen any of the previous titles in the series, and thought it was somewhat half decent (gave it 3,5 out of 5), but after re-watching the whole shebang, this is clearly the lowest point of the series (up until that time of course... every following sequel just became gradually worse from then on).

Decent heist-comedy, carried mainly by the chemistry between the leading couple.... and Salma Hayek ;)

This was one of the best love/hate bro-mance movies I've seen in a long time, which probably is the main reason for re-watching this ho-hum story... and Salma Hayek of course.

Naomie Harris plays Woody Harrelson's love-interest here, and Don Cheadle has a small cameo as a local gangster (although featured prominently on pretty much all the movie's posters).

    There's also a nice scene in…

More of the same - if you liked "Halloween 4", you're gonna love "Halloween 5"! Some good kills, cops have never been more inept in cinematic history, and Donald Pleasence is still chasing after good old Michael Myers (this time again played by yet another new actor, Don Shanks, who would not return later). It's somewhat enjoyable, but far from a masterpiece.
