    love the writing, and the moments they choose not to express through dialog. the bundle of sticks, and the ending. perfect. i like the way increasingly older people ask him about increasingly younger times in his life, until he's in a cemetery talking about his childhood. the bar scene with the other veteran is so touching and renders redundant all so-called "anti-war" action movies (those do inherently glorify violence despite their deluded claims that they don't).
