oh god im conflicted about this one.
part 1: 4 stars maybe even 4.5
i thoroughly enjoyed this part. the best parts - of the film in general - are the cinematography and score. it perfectly sets up lászló's struggles and hopes while showing the nasty treatment that will only get worse which will lead to his (very understandable) crisis in the second part
part 2: 3 stars, specifically 2.75
now here is where a lot of the issues start…
