  I swear the nostalgic and melancholic feeling this movie brings to me is unexplainable. Elio falling so deeply for Oliver, experiencing things for the first time with him, things that mean sooo much to him while for Oliver, it’s just a pastime during his stay in Italy, a fleeting relationship. It makes me feel such sorrow and empathy for him. But as him, I also wish they would read my mind
