  the vast majority of people who are giving this film higher than two stars lack the ability to form their own opinions and ideas. the emotionally incestuous nature of steve and his moms relationship is so unbelievably reused and such a weird thing to make one of the main focal points of the movie about. and the taxi scene was such a reminder to me that regardless of how “good” a film is, the director will ensure they alienate people…

  do i get the appeal? i guess so. could this movie have been executed so much better? yes. is my opinion on this movie 100% skewed because of the fandom around this film and the baffling amount of freaks in it? yes!
